ARP Expands its Tiny Bolt Availability - Engine Builder Magazine

Fastener manufacturer ARP makes it easy to upgrade factory hardware with premium-quality, polished-stainless-steel bolts that come in handy 5-packs by size. In addition to large bolts that range from 1/2” to 1/4” in diameter, ARP offers #10-32, #10-24 and the new #8-32 sizes.

Manufactured in-house at ARP’s California facilities, the new #8-32 bolts feature 12-point heads and are available in ten .125” incremental sizes ranging from .375” to 1.500” underhead lengths. They are designed to be employed for a variety of tasks in a vehicle’s engine compartment, interior and elsewhere.

All of ARP accessory fasteners (polished-stainless steel or black-oxide-finished 8740 chrome moly) are nominally rated at 180,000 psi tensile strength —fully 20% stronger than grade 8 hardware. As an additional benefit, the stainless-steel bolts are virtually impervious to the elements.
